Since 1988, Rhino linings have been applying a virtually impenetrable skin of protection on the truck beds and rocker panels of our clients' trucks. It is a proprietary polyurethane and polyurea hybrid blend that gives you the best properties of each component. You get the tensile strength and durability from the polyurea without the brittleness of pure polyureas. At the same time, you get the impact resistance and traction of the polyurethanes without it being soft and rubbery like the soles of your shoes.

How Does It Get Applied?

There has been a lot of false and outdated information as to how Rhino Linings are applied so let's clear that up now. The current line of products offered by Rhino Linings of Winnipeg are sprayed on hot and under pressure. Let me explain.

The Rhino product is shipped to us in liquid form as is the the hardening agent used to give you a finished product. Now because the reaction that hardens the Rhino Lining product takes just a few seconds, they are mixed together at the applicator tip, and sprayed on at 3000 psi. There is a thermogenic reaction that heats the already pre-heated product as it reacts and hardens.


So what does this mean to you?

Factory finish look

You get a factory finish look with no runs, drips or pooling in low spots; your bed liner is dry and ready to go by the time it leaves our booth. Rain or shine, you can drive your truck away as soon as we are done and even use it for light duty use that first day. We do recommend you give it 24-48 hours to fully cure and harden before you start hauling patio blocks or gravel.

The best part about a Rhino Liner, aside from how amazing it looks in your truck, is that of all the spray in bed liners that you can choose here in Winnipeg. The black pigment in our product resists sun fading without applying an additional, expensive UV protective top coat. Now it isn't fade proof, and will eventually go a light black. However, we do have a product that will restore the dark black luster of your liner. And if you are handy, you can even do it yourself.
